hi, i have an xbox 360 that is giving me E74 error. I have tried the towel trick, the penny trick, the xclamp fix also the heat gun. But i am having no success can someone plz help me?
you really should avoid the towel trick and the penny fix as these will just lead to more problems. maybe a reball? it may be a little on the expensive side but its much cheaper than buying a new xbox.

i have finished the process, but it gives me now 3rrod, it worked oncE, when i tipped the xbox on its back and applied pressure, it turned on but only once, any idea?
ok so more good news (i think) what happens is when i turn the console on it shows green light in the middle and the rings but after like 30 secs the green rings turn red
