Hi i usually download games via various websites and occasional torrents but am now looking into ripping my own games from disk i have a few questions that i would like to ask basically its says u need a xbox 360 drive with 0800 firmware now do i put the firmware on like i would usually do via jungle flasher????.... and whats the best connect kit to use cuz on one tutorial it says use a Xecuter CK3 Pro and a X360USB Pro is the X360USB Pro really needed as my other connector kit connects my drive to pc ??? so what is it for this X360USB Pro ???

sorry i usually connect via sata cable on pc board
if your sata chipset works with your drive, save some money and just get the CK3 Pro. it is almost exactly like flashing with Lt, but i believe that you dont need a DVD key to flash it. i would recommend getting a new dvd drive strictly for ripping.

I also would recommend getting a separate drive for just ripping. Makes it a lot easier ans less stressful as you don't have to worry about screwing your only drive etc.

I also would recommend getting a separate drive for just ripping. Makes it a lot easier ans less stressful as you don't have to worry about screwing your only drive etc.
Also the 0800 firmware doesn't need a DVD key and can't play games, so if you have only one drive, you have to reflash it every time you want to rip a game and then flash it back to LT 3.0 when you want to play. The other option instead of getting a new drive and a CK3 Pro is to get a DROM6316 drive off ebay, modify it according to this little tutorial here:
http://www.xbox360iso.com/drom6316-pc-internal-t496730.html and then use Dosflash to flash it with the latest 0800 firmware for BenQ drives. The drives are rare, because they were only used as internal drives for Dell PCs, they pop up on ebay every now and then, but it should still be cheaper than buying another Xbox 360 drive and a CK3 Pro, not to mention that it looks better, because it's a truly internal drive, you don't have a drive hanging out of your computer or have to open up your computer every time you want to rip a game or anything.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.
