my xbox wont read games but it plays dvd's i have changed the hard drive and the dvd drive 3 times what else could i do to fix the poblem?

i may be wrong but i think that this is because your DVD keys don't match.

You are very right. The dvd drive cant just be changed without flashing the drive with the key that matches the motherboard. Also you need the original type dvd drive to run newer games. you can only get the key from the original dvd drive or from the jtag hack running xell or xellous and only if you have a jtagable dash or a non xenon console with the reset glitch hack. If you bought your 360 used and it says play dvd when a game is in it then the drive that was in it wasn't the original. If your not on a jtagable dash and your console isn't glitchable then you have an expensive dvd player and nothing more.
