my xbox wont update to the new dash.i have heard that microsoft are exchanging consoles for a new slim.anyone else heard this?

sounds unlikely, but its probably worth calling them. also what error do you get when you try, i was recently having the same problem.

is your drive Spoofed? you need the original to update.

It means that you are using a dvd drive that isn't the one that originally came with the xbox. I would ask whoever you bought it from if they replaced the drive.
