I have comcast xfinity, and a arris router/modem.
I want to open my nat on my ps3.
I want my ppoe, but i called comcast and they said it was my routers ssid, and pin..
It wasnt.

I want to do this bcs i tried seting my ps3 with a static ip and settn it as the dmz, it made lag worse! And i sawvids where they said that seetn up ur ps3 to automatic is the best way to open it, and to have it
1.wired with ethernet cord
2.turn off firewall on ur router(i put my on custom and have disable firewall checked)
3. Have unpn on router and ps3

Yet my nat type stays moderate. It will randomly open on someday days and ill have the best online gamming of my life!
So i want to try the pppoe.

How do i open the nat with my ps3 without port forwarding / dmz. Bcs i find it doesnt help.(and i fou d other forums where it doesnt help ppl)
