Ok some friends and I are gonna do a mw3 lan, just a few of us for now ( all have there own ps3 and tv no split screen )
I was wondering how many ps3s do ya think, can run on a standard, Linksys wireless router, wirelessly, before lag starts to kick in.. if at most maybe 20 people on the wireless router,,
I know about buying a bigger router with lots of ports etc,, but this is just a wonder,
ok good.. we do have more guys from work that are interested also, so . We can always go wired if need be, Lag on line is bad enough, dont want lag over a damn LAN.
Well what I said was based on the numbers, not hosted a LAN game myself before.
Having 20 devices trying to connect to a single router may cause interference with each other, idk, could happen but you wont know until you try; and if it does will cause lags and disconnects.
