Issue, missing sound, freezing and stuttering in shooting action?

My PS3 is having issues where in shooting action the sound lags or skips and the screen momentarily freezes and stutters in game play. It only seem to happen in shooting action. What is the likely culprit? is it the laser, fault cpu or gpu, corrupt HDD and memory.

The laser is giving you issues. First try and clean it with 91% IPA and a q-tip. If that doesnt work, replace the entire deck plate with laser included. I get them for around $45.
