I play video files on my ps3. The naming convention of the videos on the list appear different with depending on the format. For wmv if the title tag is set for that video that title will appear and not the file name on the video list. For mp4, if the title tag is set it displays the file name and not the title on the list. Is there something different about the formats that affect on how the titles are displayed and is there any way to resolve it? Also, I convert the any incompatible formats to mp4 and could that possibly affect the file? Finally, why can you only edit the video information when the video is on the system and not on a flash drive?
