I just purchased a Gateway NE71B11u Notebook AMD Dual-Core Processor and has Windows 8. Been watching video on my TV via HDMI and things were great for a while. Now all the sudden video lags a lot and it even does just watching on the laptop. Anyone have any suggestions

yeah change the thread title to something that better describes what you want help with or risk getting thread closed

if you've played a file before & it was ok & now it ain't it could be either the video player your using so try vlc as it has a small footprint,other option is the computer may have a back ground process hogging system resources,the task manager will show this or a component is failing,or it's the video file itself unless the graphic card it uses is not capable of playing hd content in which case sound will be ok but video picture can't keep up
