I have Win8 in my computer, 1tb HD, i7 Intel, 8G ram, I am

considering upgrading to 8.1, before I do, I thought Id throw

it out to the pros. Bad or good idea, if so is there a

compatibilty app that should be downloaded?

what do you need a compatibilty app for, just download 8.1(about 3.1-3.5gigs), install it & configure it to go straight to your desktop like xp & win7. don't know how good the 8.1 start button is but if don't like it than can possibly download 3rd party start button & install it. did the start button for win8 & it works like in xp & win7.
