I looked at the definition of angles (as in films that are multi-angle): HERE
Having ripped a DVD to my PC, I had a quick look with Shrink. I intend ripping out the main feature, uncompressed, and then running it through Rebuilder.
The thing is that I don't see a menu option to do with angles and, looking at both of them in Shrink, I don't notice a lot of difference between the two - if any.
- Is that normal?
- Why would there be such a small difference between angles - in terms of what is visually obvious?
- Why would there be no obvious choice to change them, in the menu?
- Even in VLC, there is only one video track listed, so why two angles present?
- Which of the two would be the one that I watched in the theatre?
- Is there any way to find out, other than to watch both angles all the way through and hope that I remembered?
I am inclined to think that Angle 1 (of 2) would be the primary / "normal" angle. Is that usually the case? I suppose it boils down to...
Which of two, when presented with two, angles would you take?
Is just like a DVD Movie came with Wide-screen and Full-screen versions; I choose the first one 'cos usually is the wide-screen version and the one I like most.
i remember multiple angles in the movie Chicken Little, there were about four sections that had multiple angles, the only difference was a sign in the background or some wording.. each angle was for it to display in a different language, so if you didn't select the correct angle you might see a sign in spanish or another language. You had to take time to really look as it wasn't always the first angle each time.
