Ok were to start
I have a lightscribe what im looking to no is what are the best brand you can use for this.I have used the following brands.
i.Vermont dvd+ this burned a great picture on to the disc, had to it twice to make it look really good but very happy with results
2.Datasafe dvd- Results are good but you can see circles going round the whole of the disc like a sprial
3.ri disc cdr like data safe if you look your see circles like a prial on the disc.
I have that useing black and white photos is best with a dark figure and light background to the photo your burning on the disc, this works very well indeed.
Can anyone give me there results on which brands they use im going to be concucting tests on a few brands so if anyone has been useing lightscribe can you please let me no your brand of discs and the results.
The reason for this is i have a very large music collection of live gigs by a band which collecting there stuff is my hobbie. So i have about 500 discs to do and want to buy in bulk and make sure i get the best quity i can.

CMC has had a LightScribe license from the beginning, and they are very accustomed to the production of discs. Although the substrates/molds, dyes, and manufacturing processes/lines will differ for a number of different CMC-produced brands, the LightScribe coatings are identical for:
CMC brand Mr. Data
HP
Imation
Memorex
TDK
Verbatim

There are undoubtedly others, but all of these brands offer LightScribe media manufactured by CMC Magnetics.
