Music DVDs to HDD & Create Playlists

Does anyone know if there are any applications available that enable the copying of Music DVD's to HDD with all Album & Song Titles with the ability to then select Albums &/or individual titles to create and save playlists. WMPlayer does this for CDs but can't do the same with DVDs

It would be great if the file size could be reduced otherwise I can see that for my current collection I'd need over 1500 GB.
