I posted a previous thread on this, thought i fixed it, and got the thread closed, but the issue is still there.
first I ripped the DVD movie only with Shrink and then burned using IMGBurn. After about 5 minutes of watching the movie, the audio goes out of sync and stays out of sync....If I skip back to the previous scene however, the audio corrects itself again for 5 minutes or so and then the problem comes back.
I just made a new copy using the latest version of DVDFab Pro (6.0.2.2). I ripped the complete disc to my HDD and then used DVDFab to rip the Movie Only from the files I ripped to my HDD and then burned using IMGBurn to a DVD-5. Again, the burn was succesful, however the audio problem was exactly the same...Now I wanted to just use a regular DVD-5 because I really don't care about the extras or menus, I just want the movie and don't want to waste a DVD-9 (I mainly use those for TV show seasons). Not to mention, the movie itself fits on a DVD-5 with no compression.
after I ripped the movie only files using DVDFab, I ran all the files through FixVTS and then burned the movie to a DVD-5DVD+R via a different computer with a different burner and it worked in my player without the audio sync issue.
I don't know if FixVTS is to thank or if it was just the burner on my Dad's comp, but I'm still wondering how it could be my burner since I have not had a problem with movies that I have copied before or after I tried to burn this one (even with movies that I have ripped only the movie and then burned). The only downer about using my Dad's computer was that his computer doesn't support Bitsetting, but that's alright as my DVD player plays DVD+R's just fine.
