The other day I made a movie-only copy of Pineapple Express. While it copied fine and plays fine in my player, the audio track is just slightly out of sync with the video.
I ran AnyDVD while I ripped the movie-only to an ISO using DVDShrink and then burned the ISO using IMGBurn to a regular DVD+R single layer disc.
The one thing that I did notice was that this movie in particular had LOTS of copy protection over it and I am wondering if the problem was that I didn't simply rip the full disc to my computer first and then use DVDShrink to pull the movie from those files and put them in an ISO from there. Maybe running AnyDVD to get rid of all that protection while simultaneously ripping to ISO with Shrink was just too much? I wonder this, because I have done other movies that had much less protection this way (running AnyDVD in the background while ripping movie only with Shrink) and have had perfect results. I am going to try this in a few days when I can get that movie back, but in the meantime any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
wow, I actually just popped the disc back in my computer and in my DVD player and watched the scenes where I could've sworn there was a sync problem yesterday and now the disc seems perfectly fine...I don't know whether I was seeing things or what was up, maybe I am just crazy, lol.
Couldn't have helped but, nope, you weren't seeing thing's or crazy. I have seen that myself a few time's and fast forwarding and then going back to that spot or starting over seem's to resync thing's, usually avi though. No idea why.
