Problem with quality of burnt dvds

I have been burning dvds using dvdfab and imgburn for a while now without any problems, except for the quality. I use taiyo yuden dvd-r and Memorex dvd+r dl (for movies that are greater than 4.7 GB in size). For those of you who are familiar with dvdfab, I always make sure the quality is 100% -- I use dvd-r / +r accordingly. I also have a Samsung blu ray player (model ht-bd1250t).

But when I play the burnt dvd?s, the quality isn?t anywhere near the quality of the factory dvd. The images are blocky and fuzzy. I checked for a firmware update for my burner on my laptop, and I have the latest version. So I just need some help as to what I can do to improve the quality of these dvd?s that I burn. You suggestions are very much appreciated.
