Hi Everyone hera at afterdawn it has been awhile since I last posted
anything, The problem I am having today is when I try to encode my newly bough Michael Jackson DVD with dvd shrink and nero recode. With dvd shrink the analizing process stops at around 76% (not the initial analizing when you first open a DVD but the actual analizing when proccessing the DVD to fit on a DVD-5,and when using nero recode the initial analizing finishes but then nero recode stops responding. I have tried proccessing first with VobBlanker and DVD Shrink with no luck. Does anyone know if this DVD Has some sort of new protection or know how to overcome this problem and backup my legaly owned DVD, I would like to keep my original in mint condition.

Did you use any decrypter, like AnyDVD or DVDFab? You need to do that in order to rip the disc correctly to your HDD...

I Used DVD Fab Decrypter Latest Version and latest beta Version with no luck I don't care to pay for or use anyDVD because I believe and know that a DVD Can be backed up using freeware, Why pay when you can do the same thing using freeware tools such as DVD Decrypter,DVD Shrink,Ripit4me and DVD Fab also allows ripping of movie after the trial period has expired making it freeware. I am currantly ripping the movie again using Ripit4me seems to take all day with this one it must have a lot of protections as the program is inserting tons of dummy sectors. Thanks for your reply
