You have to do your own leg work. I would go to an audio shop and see what they say. Listen to the speakers then you can check the internet for a good buy. I would also check to see what is the RMS watt value. That is the true wattage. Remember that may be for both channels so each speaker is taking in 140 watts peak power.

Just don't crank up the power too high.

ok jus to be clear your saying the RMS is th tru wattage rite? so if it says(hypothetically) 280 watts RMS that mean the most it can take is that 280 watts in question? dont wrry ill check the shops but i jus wana be sure i grasp wat your saying

I suspect the quoted wattage is for an extreme low note for a milisecond then it will clip. RMS is more like an average wattage completely cranked without clipping. You need to confirm what that 620w represents before you buy speakers.

I do not claim to be an expert on how these stats are formulated, but I think both are done actually measuring the wattage. One is measured as a peak right before it blows the other as a continuous wattage. The manufacturer should be able to give you both numbers. If that is not possible, talk with a sales rep at an audio store. They ought to know much more than I. Hopefully, the guy be familiar with your amp.
