I have an audio cd which i play on my Pc with SEQURAS player but am not able to extract copy this cd audio , can anybody help/advice. Thanks..Paul

It may be copy protected. If that is the case you could always audion capture. There have been 2 threads mentioning audio capture replied to in the last two weeks. One was on AAC files.

Hi MEZ,
I tried All Capture applications and also CD Extractors,Rippers etc as the Files are not able to recognize as Audio formats,anyway I made an Image of the CD as it plays on my comp, here are the files listed on the CD, they show as-:
1. ACD - EMPTY FOLDER
2. AUDIOS - EMPTY FOLDER
3. CDI - FOLDER CONSISTS OF FILE NAMES (CDI_IMAG.RTF,CDI_TEXT.FNT,CDI_VCD.APP,CDI_VCD.CFG)
4. EXT - FOLDER CONSISTS OF FILES NAMES
(LOT_X.VCD,PSD_X.VCD,SCANDATA)
5. PICTURES - EMPTY FOLDER
6. SEGMENT - EMPTY FOLDER
7.AUTORUN
8. LOCK
9. READ ME - FOLDER SAYS:
Dear User,
This is an autorun CD it will complete the installation of "SEQURAS Player" once it is inserted in the drive. "SEQURAS Player" is required to play this ACD on a computer.Please press the PLAY button when "SEQURAS Player" appears on your computer. "SEQURAS Player" provides some extraordinary features as compared to any player available in the market. With"SEQURAS Player"you will defenitely enjoy Playing this ACD on your computer.If autorun is disabled on your PC then:
To Install or Run "SEQURAS Player" click on the "Start" icon.
To Unistall "SEQURAS Player" click on the "Unistall" icon.
Please insert this CD in your computer drive when you want to play it.

11. UNINSTALL

Read the last page or 2 in the almost 700 entries that discuss capturing an AAC file. Yours is a propriatary format and can't be converted. However it can be captured, which is what you will have to do.

coffe_pep, what make you think that will solve the problem? What I got out of the description is

I did some more checking and someone else did have success this way.

Apparently, Isobuster will work.
Audio capture off the sound card HAS to work. It is fool proof. You must use an audio capture app that taps off the sound card. Not all audio captures do. You play what ever and capture the sound. If you can hear the audio from your PC then the sound card IS processing the sound so the capture MUST work. This way you can capture from any source. If did not work you were not using a card capture utility. There are many types, Audacity uses the sound but only if you are using the mic jack, there are others that capture from a streaming file you get off the internet. Neither will work for you.
Here is one. I have never used it so I can't say if it is a good one or not. It appears to be a card capture app. You can try the demo and see it it works you your application. Please post the results.

Even I find exactly the same cd & didnt got the way to rip it
i tried everything & as this music is not available on the internet it is some devotional songs which i need to copy
kindly help if u got any way to do it
