The dreaded red x over the speaker ICON. Tried installing new sound card and nothing new.

The dreaded audio service is not running. Tried downloading drivers, tried manually starting and restarting in Windows Services and all three are down!

Under Services
AudioEnpointBuilder failed to read description, Error Code:193
AudioSRV " same as above"

Also error code 1068

I have tried everything on the net, this is the best place to try and resolve. All drivers are updated, son was playing BF2 online with headset then these messages started!
