It may not be fixed because the mp3 is screwed up. What is th big deal anyway? I never look at that bar or at least less than 1% of the time. You can try to go in and start editing the mp3 and if you screw that up it might not play. I suspect it is a free copy and you are missing the tale end of the tune. Try googling AudioTester that is a free utility that will tell you if your music is screwed up. It is a moot point since it is. p2p is ofter screwed up. Much is done by robot things that interfere with your downloads funded my the media industry. They play havoc with good clients and ruin the download if you have something like Bitcomet. Bitcomet is easily duped. You can get duped with even the best.

Try a good player and not spyware from M$. It does spy on what you play and M$ has a record of every non DRMed thing you ever played. If you want to see something, try running peerblock that blocks your computer from the cyberpolice, have the activity window opened so you can see who is trying to invade your computer then play a tune with WMP that is not on a CD or is DRMed. It calls the cops on you as well as sending your info. Try Winamp or Media Monkey they have free versions. They have very different interfaces. If you like one you will probably not like the other.

what's the difference?.. both are torrent apps so wmp will list your content as illegal.. and send your info to the riaa/mpaa cartel and a heap of advertisers..

get with the program people.. stop using spyware player.. vlc is far superior, plenty of skins (or write your own even) .. or give xbmc a shot.. haven't bothered myself, my experiences with the xbox versions deter me because it's so buggy.

as for the mp3 time reading.. probably a broken index .. convert it to something else then back again and see what happens... vlc might just repair the index, it has a habit of doing this to broken files.

I am serious that they collect info. What they will do with it is unknown if p2p is not illegal in your country. They are not the police; they must be hackers working for the media. In most countries, what they do is more illegal than what you are doing so it can not be used in court.

Vuse is better than most and even utorrent can screw up if you do not re-check what is complete.

hasn't been tested recently, but anybody can do this so you wmp users give it a go.. bet you will never use it again after seeing the extent of the spying going on..

It happens I use a customised self compiled older azureus version. don't like vuze with it's inbuilt bloatware players and plugins crap. It always checks a completed file, and it always spoofs my ip in packets (I found a nice open network connection I have hijacked as a proxy.. think it's a network printer or something in a nearby college, internet connected always on.. accepts printer commands on 8817.. looks like a wireless printer.. it's nic is open for the ports I use and has been bridged.. so it's mine.. hahahaha)
