HELP...everytime i tried to burn an hd movie. i'm always getting an error message:

W 07:57:19 Failed to Write Sectors 1279360 - 1279391 - Reason: Peripheral Device Write Fault
W 07:57:19 Retrying (1 of 20)...
W 07:57:19 Retry Failed - Reason: Illegal Mode For This Track
W 07:57:19 Retrying (2 of 20)

...it plays but only half the movie...

DVD Flick uses ImgBurn to burn the disks.

You can find the complete log of the burn if you go to the installed location - C:\Program Files\DVD Flick\imgburn

- run ImgBurn and Help > ImgBurn logs.

But it may be easier to get some 'Verbatim' brand disks and try with those.

i'm using memorex dvd+r and sometimes it works. anyway, ill try "verbatim brand" and see if that solve the problem.

that's a lot to put on a dvd

clearly the burner doesn't like going that close to the edge or the disks won't physically hold that much.

I have found 4,684,xxx,xxx bytes is about tops.. on samsung disks.. disks will error attempting to finalize.. then spit out.. but will work..
