CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME .i intend purchasing A Blake DMX10WB 52 Element Wideband Aerial.it is group W & gain 12.6 dBd 14.8 dBi is this aerial suitable to receive irish tv in monasterevin .. many thanks

Before you splash out on that try a set of rabbit ears (from the pound shop) or even a hanger, if you can get a strong enough signal the above will be good enough for you.

thanks .. have tried a 10 element uhf aerial on chimney.. can get rte 1 & 2 perfectly but not tv3 & tg4 & vice versa..rabbits ears just do not work in monasterevin as transmtters are too far away

Yeah, the signal around our area is a bit funny alright. A green (mostly) or yellow tipped UHF aerial works in most cases around the Portarlington, Portlaosie, Mountmellick, Monasterevin area, failing that we usually recommenend a decent wideband uhf grid aerial for customers. It should be cheaper than the one you suggested and works well in my experience.
