ASDA dvd-r Are they really Verbatims?

I have bought asda own brand dvd-rs many times before and had no problems, i also buy the verbatim MCC 03 RG20 (dvd-rs with azo dye) for things that i want to archive,

Anyway ive just checked some of my asda dvd-rs with DVD Identifier and they come up as MCC 03 RG20 - ie made by verbatim!

Has anyone else found this?
Are they really manufactured by vertaim / for verbatim with verbatim technology?

If they are then they are a pretty good bargain!
