hi all just need to know what the best brand of dvd+r to burn movies on my LG burner

A well regarded brand is Taiyo Yuden (mail order) or Verbatim DataLife Plus - note, there is also a lower price range 'Life Series' of Verbatim disks.
These disks have been given low appraisals on discussion sites.

yes indeed ty's or verbs .. I find samsung pleomax are pretty fine as well for cheapies..

Haven't had a problem with the cheaper verbs myself.. just so long as they don't come out of the "bargain bin".. where all the faulty stuff goes..

Avoid memosux and tdk and you will generally be fine.. philips disks seem to be back on form as well.. last I saw were Optodisk manufacturer id code.. same as the samsung.. I would rate them up there with Gigatains.. best budget brands I have seen.. at least as good as the lower priced verbs and often will play fine in more marginal dvd players which spit out apparently better disks.

Going against the gospel I know.. but I tells it like I finds it.
