i recently purchased 200 +r 16x dvds from (i dont remember the site's name i believe
i got it from amazon.)
gigablock, and they worked pretty well with my built in burner for my new laptop
out of 200 disks i got about 3 or 4 skipping maybe defective.. is that good?
ratio? and i was checking out all the reviews and stuff on google...
lot of people say that they dont work with their burners..maybe my laptop
is new (alienware freaken cost me over grand for this shiz!!)and pretty stacked out.
but i thought for a price and such i thought these dvds were pretty good...
well i dont have that much information on dvds and burning or whatnot.. but can anyone
tell me if 2-3 failing disks out of 200 is a good ratio? i remember burning like cds
when i was in highschool with Kodak brand cds and 20 of them weren't playing well..
so i was just wondering can anyone give me heads up?
im deciding whether im gonna buy from gigablock again.. or as lot of people posted
to go check out supermediastore.com (i dont no why but theres like bunch of spammers
telling people to go to check this website out.. saying that gigablock is garbage on most of the forum..) im confused.. i really like the price im getting with these gigablock but looking at all these reviews make me get CONFUSED!!! so ya help me out~ lol

I don't think it's a good ratio.
I use Verbatim DVD-R that say 'Advanced AZO' on the package (not the 'Life Series') and have yet to have a bad burn.

If you look at the media code on the Gigablock disks, here:

http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia?dvdmediasearch=gigablock&dvdmediadvdridsearch=&type=11&size=All&dvdburnspeed=All&order=Name&hits=50&search=Search+or+List+Media

You see that the same code is used for many brands, here:
http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia?dvdmediadvdridsearch=VDSPMSAB%2001.

You can read the comments and figure out if they are good or not.
