Is seagate 80gb hdd compatible with all types of hdloaders and all types of network adaptors and all ps2 games?

What i want to know is if ill encounter this kind of problem (hdloader hang on splash screen and when you choose a game it lags/hangs black screen)? that is what im afraid of!

If it is compatable with one version, it is compatable with all versions. Most hard drives are, unless they don't physicaly fit the connections on the network adapter.
