Secret of mana 2/Seiken Densetsu 3 emulator help

Okay so i downloaded Snes 0.24 HDD2 emualator off of sksapps to play secret of mana 2 on my ps2. I downloaded 3 versions of secret of mana 2 off many websites and tried them all on my ps2. The title screen says Seiken densetsu 3 and it its all english untill i get to the New game page. All of the words are all scrambled and it makes no sence at all. I think it said like http in the bottom left corner. Secret of mana 2 was never released in the us so i have a english patch rom so i guess the emulator on my ps2 doesnt like patched/translated snes games. Does anyone know how to fix this or if i need to download a certien rom of secret of mana 2/seiken densetsu 3. Btw i tried running all 3 of the roms that i tried on my ps2 on Zsnes emualtor on my computer and all of the writing in the main page is english unlike my ps2 version.

The emulator you have doesnt cupport the translation codec. so its messing up the video.
