Swap Magic 3.8 Coder Failed Game Boot

The Coder always fails at booting my games with or without cheats on with any game. I have the slim ps2, bought the Swap Magic 3 Plus Kit and everything works fine when I use the regular Disc Loader and not Coder. I turn codes on, select boot disc, pick NTSC, and the disc spins slowly then screen goes black like it worked then the disc stops spinning and nothing happens. I'm trying to run an imported copy of KHFMII+ so I have the real disc but it still won't load with Coder with cheats on or not on. WTF is goin on?
