So, I've been thinking creatively today. I've been reading about the methods of getting backup games to play on the PS2.

The only free, no mod necessary method I've found is referred to as a time swap, and only works with PS1 games. Put an original in, wait for the PS1 logo, use a tool to get the tray open, swap discs, and close the tray, all in a very short period of time.

Of course, that's a major pain, or at least it would be to do so every time.

Then, there's the awesome Memory card mod thing that seems pretty cool. Make a disc, it mods your card to mess with your system (if I'm understanding that correctly) and Presto, backups work.

The downside to this is that these discs cost money, which is exactly why I don't like modchips.

So, my thought was this: What if I time swapped a backup of a memory card mod? I know that sounds a bit crazy, but technically these discs aren't PS1 or PS2 games. Now That I think about it, I have no idea how the system reads them (DVD maybe?)

idk, what do you guys think?
