if you have a retail copy of usb/hd advanced I would install freemcboot and switch from using USB/hdadvanced to open ps2 loader it has much better compatibility I believe. take a look at this tutorial to install it here.

I dont have the retail disc. I installed free mcboot using a cd in which I burned the install and .elf folder . I successfully installed it but when I on the ps2 the free mcboot logo comes and nothin else".....
