AVCHD ? MPEG-4 with Sony DSC-HX100V

With XP-64:

I think I'll be okay with this, but I would like to know before I buy the camera. The camera is a Sony DSC-HX100V, and it stores only the AVCHD MPEG-4 modes.

I don't have a TV. I use only my computer and its monitor and sound system. I have never bought an audio disk or video disk in my life; I always store my pictures, videos, and music as data files on an ordinary DVD.

I use VLC Media Player, K-Lite, and KM Player, as well as Foobar2000.

I transfer files almost always using Windows Explorer. I run XP 64, so some 3rd party file-transfer software would not run on this system anyway.

?Should I be anticipating any problems using a new Sony DSC-HX100V, regarding its taste in videos? Thanks.
