I'll be shooting alot of video this summer in hockey arenas.
Not known for their great lighting.
The sport is known for fast action. (so I'll be moving the camera for the most part)
I'll be filming from a booth approx 20 meters away from the action.
This will not require a lot of zoom as what is required is more zone footage. (Offensive End, Center, Defensive End)
Battery life is not an issue as I will be plugged in 90% of the time.
It will be on a tripod, but panning often.
I want the best possible image.

What would you guys and girls suggest as the purchase of a new camcorder?
Low, Mid and High suggestions would be appreciated, but I'm truly looking mid to high at this point.
Please bear in mind that I'm not on top of the market or it's intricacies.

If possible I'd like to be on a hard drive or flash for easy transfer.
Do I need HD? Would the extra frames help me with light issues?
