My digital camera's SDHC card is getting card error. I connected it to my PC via usb cable and its not even being reognised by winxp.

What can be done to get it connected to my pc in order to recover my photos?

Thanks

so it doesn't work in any cameras and it doesn't detect when connected to a computer... what does that say about this card?

I don't know...it means the card is claustrophobic? Maybe it doesn't like being stuck in dark tight spaces, like a card reader or card slot in a camera, wants to be in a wide, aerated space like a trash bin.

Sorry about your loss.

I might be wrong, but could it be your device driver on the card reader? SDHC is pretty new to the scene as far as winxp goes, and I'm assuming that xp has recognized it in the past? I've had to use my micro sd card through a usb thumb drive adapter on xp before, because xp wouldn't read it through the sd card adapter. Like I said I might be wrong, and there's a huge chance that I am:P By the way, ghetto style jewelry cracked my shit up!

once bread becomes toast it can never go back
