Im thinking of buying the following camcorder.

SONY HDR XR200V HIGH DEFINITION CAMCORDER

Its a US Camcorder and its a NTSC format.
Is there any cons for buying this camcorder. I live in Ireland. Outside the power issue will the NTSC format make much of a differance to me. Im using Pinnacle 12 Ultimate to edit my videos at the moment, and my tv can show both formats.
Should I buy a US NTSC or buy a PAL version(almost double cost).
Any recommendations onthe NTSC oreven the camera itself.
