So I have this universal componet HD cable for Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, Xbox and Gamecube. It works for all of them except for my original Xbox. When I attempt to use it no video appears on my TV, and yes I have the right channel on.

I can hear stuff but I cannot see anything. Just a blank screen with Componet 1 in the top left hand corner. I tried changing my system's display to widescreen but it did not work. Is there something else I need to do to get my Xbox in HD? Right now I am playing with standard AV wires. Looking for some better color.
