ok i have two problems with flashing my xbox what should i do

1.i have an xbox 360 elite(warranty already voided)with the lite-on drive. but the bad news is its a 83850c! i have seen tuts on flashing them but dont want to risk.

2.Buy a refurbished xbox 360 from gamestop. the problem with that is what if i get a lite-drive 83850c again. those are really difficult to flash.

and can you point me to any tutorials on flashing lite-on and supplys ill need. i already have an onboard sata, jungleflasher, PortIO32, and iXtreme 1.5 LiteOn Firmware
