So why do you need dongles for wireless controllers again ??


Ok you do realize we are talking about the original xbox and not the 360. To my knowledge originally all the controllers where wired and even started out that way with the 360 as well. Now how is the wireless controller going to communicate with the console if the console has no way of detecting the game controller. Pretty cut and dry and this was really has nothing to do with the question I posted. I asked about how to sinc a dvd remote controller with the original xbox and not the 360. It is a contoller made specifically for the xbox but I do not know how it works. I guess like the other member said it is possible that it is suppose to have a dongle with it also but I do not know.

Ok all kid'n aside the xbox 1 was never wireless so there is no infra red port on it so naturally needs a dongle,not sure why you'd bother with a remote tho i don't even bother with mine the controllers do it all


Edit:by the way varnull works on xboxe's & comps so you can pretty much trust most of what she says since she does know what she's talk'n about,but be warned NEVER & i mean NEVER use a swear word like "windows" when she's around *mutley laugh*
