Converting 2 separate .mp4's into 1 DVD

Hello,
I'm not sure if there's an existing thread for this question already. If so, I apologize for my ignorance since I'm new to the site. I have 2 .mp4 files that I'm trying to make into 1 DVD but am having serious audio sync problems upon completion. ConvertXtoDVD was used to burn them but the audio is out of sync on the disc. It was playing fine when I used VLC to play the TS folder before I burnt it. Included are the file specifics. Please help...

Use Yamb and try to join the 2 parts into one. Check and see if the audio is in sync with video(this step is not required, only if you want to have one single title).
In ConvertxtoDVD, go to settings and under "Audio" look for the option "Do not fix audio discontinuities". If it is checked, un-check it, or viceversa.
Edit:
I just re-read your post, and the I see the Video_TS folder plays fine on your PC...You could try a different burner, like ImgBurn .

Honestly, no. After burning it and playing it on my DVD player, unsucessfully, I got frustrated and trashed it. Have been trying so many methods and not getting it to work. I'm definitely going to try out your suggestions, though.

I tried Yamb and it didn't join the 2 mp4's at all. Will still try the ConvertXtoDVD setting you suggested. Maybe that will correct the audio sync problem. If you have any more ideas, by all means, feel free and thanks again for your help.

Did you us the "Join" option?

Yes, I did. After it finished running, the output file only produced 1 of the mp4's and not both as a joined file.

Cyprusrom,
I tried the settings change in ConvertXtoDVD and the audio is still out of sync. It works on my PC with VLC but not on the DVD player. Don't know what else to try, have always had sync issues when trying to burn mp4's.

Does the disc work on your PC?
What was the default setting in ConvertxtoDVD,was " do not fix the audio discontinuities" checked or un-checked?

As 2 separate mp4 files, they worked on my PC. Once I covert them into TS, I get the audio syncing issues on the disc both on my PC and on the DVD player. The default setting in the " do not fix the audio discontinuities" was un-checked so I checked it as per your suggestion.

Is the delay constant throughout the movie?If the delay is constant, you could use VLC and adjust the timing to find the proper delay,and you could try to use MKVMerge or Yamb and set an audio delay in the mp4s, and then convert.Not sure if ConverxtoDVD would obey that delay though.
You can also try a different converter, like DVD Flick or The FilmMachine.
