I have a file that a play as avi. The problem is the movie cuts out halfway once it reaches somewhere around 700mb played.

I looked (any maybe the exhausting of tonight caused me to over look or miss it.

But what software can shrink the file? the intro and credits are already deleated

Avi Recomp looks good: http://www.videohelp.com/tools/AVI_ReComp Alltoavi gives excellent qualty depending on Bitrate used but I don't see how shrinking an avi will repair it.
