That pretty much sums it up.

I am attempting to burn an image I have onto a new double layer dvd. That part is the easy part, although for this dvd to work properly in its final location I have to somehow change the book type of the drive, to see the media as a normal dvd even though its a double layer disk. This would normally be accomplished with ImgBurn but they do not support Asus CD-Roms in their configuration page. Is there a way around this or am I going to have to find another program thats more Asus friendly?

Edit** I downloaded Nero 11 and tried to do it with Nero, but had no success.

I opened Nero DiscSpeed 5, then clicked Extra and Bitsetting, and I have 3 options displayed DVD+-R, DVD+-RW and DVD+-R DL all of their Book Types are set to n/a and the new settings column is completely grayed out. Any help would be appreciated!

My optical drive is listed as ASUS DRW-24B1ST ATA Device and now magiclly this other device is showing up that normally is non-existant BITO PEJS9UFS5 SCSI CdRom Device
