I'm having an issue burning Dvd+R's lately. They are Maxell DVD+R's bought in a 3 pack, i have been buying these for years when i'm in a hurry and haven't had any issues until lately. About a month ago i got my first bad batches with maybe 1 disk per 3 giving me a "Must format disk before use" error in nero and imgburn. I noticed it was only with the +R's so i switched to the -R's and haven't had any issues at all. I needed to back some stuff up fairly quickly today and they were out of the -'s so i bought 2 3-packs of +R's and all 6 are giving the message now. They obviously won't format just go in and endless loop until the machine is shut off with nero, imgburn i can actually cancel it out and eject but there all non-usable at the moment. Also when i do the "disk info" tab in nero it shows that they are -R with booktype the same. Not sure if this is just a massive batch of bad disks or a problem with my burner. I'm tight on money right now so i would like to be able to use a few of these if possible as i can't afford to buy a big spindle until payday next week. My burner is a LiteOn LH-201AH (if i remember correctly) in the system info it just shows up as ATAPI IHAP322 8. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
