I have Plextor-880SA. All was working ok. I bought the drive (only a month ago) along with Win7. Booted to the DVD, installed Win7. Afterwards it played all disks ok. Even burned a data cd and data dvd and a dvd movie. It played/read all these disks too. Now all sudden it only reads cds and no dvd disks (data or movie). It won't even boot to the DVD, so tbat is not Windows issue. But to make sure, uninstalled the burning program (ImgBurn), verified no filters installed, deleted/reinstalled in device manager, driver is up to date, firmware is up to date, PlexUtilities tests all pass ok. Have no idea what could be wrong. Brand new drive, so hard to believe it is bad, but I'm thinking it is since it didn't read from a BIOS level boot.
