Command sequence error with Samsung DVD Drive within NERO.

Can someone please confirm my findings. Had 2 DVD burners Pioneer DVR-111 both would copy discs with Roxio and Nero. One of them packed in. I purchased a Samsung SH-S222A. When I came to use this it would only copy any non protected disc in Roxio. It would not copy in Nero throwing up an error message COMMAND SEQUENCE ERROR ruining any disc that I tried.
Now the disc I was trying to copy was made by a Panasonic house hard drive, TV DVD recorder, the disc was authorised by Panasonic.
Any disc produced by this machine could be copied by my house computer Pioneer dvd drive, in either Roxio or Nero.
The New Samsung burner would only copy in Roxio but not in Nero.
I have looked for solutions on the net, tried nearly everything but I could not get the Samsung to work.

That is until I tried this.I opened up Nero Vision to build up my own DVD compilation, and got Nero to pull the video files made from the DVD made by the Panasonic drive via the imput disc tab on the Nero Vision program. Nero then authorised a new DVD. This it produced with no problems. Then this disc could now be copied, via Nero Express.

A lot of Samsung DVD drive owners are having problems burning discs within Nero. Is it all down to how the discs they are wanting to copy are produced in the first place.

The Pioneer burned everything, The Samsung may just be more selective.
If anybody else has any other solutions then I would be pleased to hear them.
