HP-dvd1140i DVDWriter DOESN'T EJECT

Hi guys:
My HP-dvd1140i DVDWriter frecuently doesn't eject the disks (sometimes even without doing any action with it but just seeing the content of the disk) , neither pressing the eject button or clicking EJECT (right clicking button mouse on the DVDplayer icon). Normally in this cases I have to reboot my PC and only then the DVD-player will eject. This is a brand new player (less than a month). If I knew that the problem is with the player itself, immediately I would exchange it, but I suspect that the problem is something with the setup system/configuration. This is due to the fact that every time that I reboot the PC, then the HP-player ejects just fine. Other thing that makes me suspect that is a setup problem is that with this player at difference with my old one is that each time that THIS finishes a DVD recording (Roxio6.1.1.42) or a DVD rip (with DVDFab6.2.0.5), EJECTS AUTOMATICALLY, while both programs with my old DVDplayer (a NEC one), didn't do that; so obviously at the time of the installation of this HPplayer, the configuration has changed. As a matter of fact I DO NOT WANT THIS AUTOMATIC EJECTION TO HAPPEN, but I don't know how to change this configuration.
I'll be grateful for any hints or help that you could give me in this regard.
