Img burn I/O Error!

Hi, i'm new to this forum, i hope i posted this in the correct section.
Earlier today i was burning a xbox 360 game, i've done it before no bigge. But i got this error.

So i read up on it, and i updated the firmware for my dvd writer (you can see what type it is on the picture)
Anyway i've now updated my firmware from 1.05 to 1.07 and i thought i should ask if there is anything else i should do to prevent this error from happening again, so i wont waste another disk. Btw i am using Verbatim DVD+R DL, made in Singapore
