Hi,

Well i have recently bought the AverTV H727 capture card, and i have searched around for the best setting to capture my PS3 gameplay, and have set my recording format under 720p resolution with Mp4 file format using H264 encoding at 15000bps.

Now the thing is that when i capture the gameplay with these settings i get a file of approximately 1 GB for 10 mins of file, but i have downloaded 720p files recorded in .mov format and these files seems to have a lot more clarity and the file size is almost half (approx 500Mb for 10mins) of what i get for a lesser quality video.

Now my question is can somebody explain the reasoning behind this, also is it my card that could be causing it, or whether it is the settings i am using to capture the gameplay.

Any insight into this would be highly appreciated.
