HOW TO TRANSFER VHS TO PC TO DVD

i have vista window media center and i connected vcr to the back of hp pc's tv turnercard. the picture showed via nero home video but how do i record the vhs to my computer to have transfer to dvd. I need a guide or step by step instructions. Maybe there's another software that will do the job all at once. If there's anyone out there with patience, please guide me.

Thanks!!! It's been a long time.

I did it but now I have a problem. I used Windows movie maker to convert to dvd, which works fine, but when i put dvd in dvd player no menu shows up. The menu does show up on pc. Thanks
