I am thinking about getting the Beatles USB with the flac 24Bit stereo I already have the stereo box and have riped it as aiff a friend gave me a shot of his usb and I was looking at the files sizes for the track A Day In The Life and the aiff is 56.8MB and the Flac says it is 63.8 MB with the Flac being 24Bits I asumed the file size would be much larger then the Aiff but it is not that much larger is this right.

The FLAC is compressed 24 bit @ 63MB.
The AIFF is 56, but it's 16 bit uncompressed.

The uncompressed FLAC is probably 80-90 MB.
