here is a nice BR trick. its called the BXR. u need a full clip of ammo in the br. run up to an enemy, melee him with B, push X as soon as u hit him the hit R to shoot at him. if done right u can kill him with the shot if in the head.the X makes the weapon go down quicker then just letting it go by itself. but becareful bc if u push x too soon u wont actually get the melee in.
there is also the BXB for ne human weapon. u cant have a full clip. u run up to someone and hit B then X Then B again. once again if u hit x too son there will b no melee. this combo gives u 2 melees in the time of a normal one to reset.
and something in general for gettin better: KNow ur maps. weapon respawns r key to know and if u in a tight situation knowing ur map will help save ur life many times.

Yeah i gotta admit, the shotgun packs a real punch at close range. I even beat someone with a plasma sword using the shotgun

Sorry i have not been on for a while guys.i have been real busy.Thx for the bxb thing it really helps.
I dont like the sword in live because it brings to much attention to the player using it.
I like using the cowboy combo or the shotgun.I know exacly how to take people out with the shotgun and they will NEVER kill me.

Yeah, so do i, shoot them with it before they shoot you, simple. About the plasma sword, i think it is a noobs weapon, or a weapon for beginners so that they can get a head start seeing as it kills in like 1 or 2 shots. Experienced players use proper weapons like plasma pistols + SMG combo and battle rifles like i do. Oh, and dude, what up with your, ahem, TOTALLY OUTRANGEOUS and INTOLERABLE signature?????????

What are some of your best kills then, people? One of mine is when me and my brother were playing splitscreen Halo 2 on Ascension, he was in the sniper tower (the tower that looks like it has a barbeque fork on top off it) and he was sniping, i threw a frag grenade at him, he ran down to try to get away from it, the grenade followed him down the tower and killed him :-). I also once killed my brother in less than 5 seconds straight after the game had started once, on lockout.

Try this- Gen 1 fatty controller, middle finger on the trigger, index on the buttons. Jump-strafe-turn-crouch-smack all at the same time. Then switch to your other gun and smack again (magnum/needler is fastest), 1/2 second kill no bullets. When you get good try jumping off the guy's head as he's running at you then smg head shot to crouch smack - death before you hit the ground (and many times assassination.) If you can, crank up the sensitivity to 10 and change thumbstick settings to legacy (turn/strafe switched.) Imagine the possibilities. Hit me up xbox live - beatdownnigzor.

my best kill was on ivory towers, i was where the sniper was one dude came from the shotgun way, i picked up the sniper no scoped that foo in the face, he knocked my sheilds out and his teammate was behin me shooting me, so i jumped down to the bottom level where the sword is and when i landed i threw a grenade at the elevator's side wall then ran foward jumped over it did a 360 and shot the guy that followed me down there and got hit by my nade. it was BEAUTIFUL! i really dont do justification to wat actually happened but u can get the idea.

LOL...I just played a game of Halo 2 on Xbox LIVE when it was TEAM SLAYER on Terminal on BIG TEAM BATTLE. FYI..Im a lvl 32 in Big Team. Well anyways, once the game started 1 guy quit on my team...then another...then another...and another. So within 20 seconds it was 4 people (my team) -VS.- 8 people other team.
Well skipping all of my triple kills and 1 killinmanjarro or how ever you spell it we ended up winning agianst the other team...LOL...what a bunch of NOOBS.
The funny part was that I got 61 kills and 4 deaths!!!
Along with that I had 35 headshots so they all reported when I DIDNT EVEN CHEAT!
...Well the next day I got temporarily banned for modding?!
It's funny because I didnt mod or cheat but I got banned. =(
It Just goes to show that if you are too good [like me =)] then you might be banned. =( LOL
PS->that was my best game EVER!

dude u relize there is not enough time in a game to get 61 kills unless u were spawn killin them, a killamenjarro would be dang near impossible unless they lined up for u and maybe u had a wraith. being on how it was on terminal u prolly did cheat ur four kids on ur team quit bc they didnt wanna be associated with u and fyi u wont get banned for cheating by one game of all of them sending feedback, bungie isnt that stupid. they ban u for cheating when they read the info ur xbox was giving the game and they relize, wait thats not right, so they ban u. trust me either they were running to u letting u kill them or u had a spawn mod. u might as well have kept ur mouth closed bc no1 will believe a boggus story like that. and u obviously do bad things on these forums too considering u got banned for ever.
btw i cant stand dumbasses that brag about false achievments, exspecially ranks.

Anyone know where to get the Halo 2 launcher? I hate playing V1.1 on my box with my brother. I liked the 1.0 system better. Help me out please!
PS- The seach button is suspended, so sorry if this has been asked before.
PSS- Best kill..... Lockout, ducking 3 feet in front a guy launching a rocket, the rocket wizzes over my head and i stick him in crotch! OUCH!

Agreed Jr24. In a rumble pit on lockout i could hardly get kill frenzy, which isn't that hard once the oppurtunity arises, but is still hard unless the oppurtunity does come up. I would have to say my best Halo 2 game would be at lock out multiteam. It was just a regular slayer and one of my teammates quit. So we were down one guy and one other team completly quit. Anyways, in the game i had 8 regular kills, 2 triple kills and a killtaculer. That was all my kills that i had. We ended up winning because my teammate got the other 32 kills that we needed. He was amazing with the sword and shot gun. We sat at the sniper tower and he was watching the ramp that people run up and the spot where people can come up behind you, and i was watching down low with the sword at the beggining then when i died he took it and i just kept fightind down low and he would get the guys that got past me and the ones coming up behind him. Amazing game it was.

Ok i know this has nothing to do with halo or x box but im trying to play a computer game on the internet called Red Alert 2 and im running into problems. I've played it before online and now all of a sudden its not working. Has anybody heard of or played this game that could help me out if you can Private message me. Please ask your friends around the afterdawn website also please. This is very frustrateing. ive tried everything i can think of. Again im sorry for this not relating to halo or even x box.

one of my best kills was in one game i was host and someone was trying to chuck a grenade at me so i just shot at the person and the grenade blew up right in his face..(i hit the grenade) best kill eva!

hey you guys, I have a question, Im not sure if its already been talked about, and I know Im extremely late when I say this
I hear that if you get the multiplayer map pack there is actually a deleted scene of the story about one of the peligans that survived the scarab attack. If its true, I want to know exacly what happened in that scene if it isnt any trouble.
